Have you ever typed an entire paragraph from
somewhere only to realize you pressed Caps Lock and
not the shift key? If you've ever been frustrated with the
Shift Key and Caps Lock key, here's a quick
way for you know when you have caps lock on before needing
to retype something
- Click on the Start menu
- Click on Control Panel
- If you're in Classic View, select 'Accessibility
Options'; if you're in Category View, select
'Accessibility Options' and then 'Accessibility
Options' again
- On the Keyboard tab, place a check in 'Use
ToggleKeys'
- Click on OK
Try pressing your Caps Lock key and
you should hear a sound. Press it again and you should hear
a different sound. You will also hear a sound when you toggle
Scroll Lock or Num Lock.
Happy typing!
